If this is an emergency
Still Here is not an emergency service and cannot provide urgent or crisis intervention. If you or someone else is in immediate danger, or you're thinking about harming yourself, please contact emergency help now:
- Call or text 988(US Suicide & Crisis Lifeline), any time.
- Text HOME to 741741 to reach a trained crisis counselor.
- Call your local emergency number (911 in the US) if life is at risk.

What Still Here is
Still Here is a peer-support space run by volunteers who want to listen and help you feel less alone. It can be a place to talk, to be heard, and to find links to professional help.
What Still Here is not
- Our volunteers are not certified, licensed, or professionally trained counselors, therapists, or medical providers.
- What's shared here is not medical advice, therapy, diagnosis, or treatment, and should not replace care from a qualified professional.
- Still Here is not an emergency or crisis service and is not monitored around the clock. Responses may take time.
Using this space kindly
By using Still Here, you agree to:
- Treat volunteers and anyone you interact with respectfully.
- Not use the space to harass, threaten, spam, or harm others.
- Understand that volunteers may need to end a conversation or direct you to professional help.
To keep the community safe, we may block abusive users and limit how often requests can be sent from the same connection.
No liability
Still Here and its volunteers provide this space on an "as is" basis and make no guarantees about availability, response times, or outcomes. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Still Here and its volunteers are not liable for any decisions made or actions taken based on conversations here. Using this space does not create any professional, clinical, or duty-of-care relationship.
