Things that can help

Tell one person

You don't have to carry this alone. Reaching out to a single trusted person, friend, family member, teacher, or us, can lift some of the weight.

Slow your breathing

Breathe in for 4 counts, hold for 4, out for 6. Repeating this a few times can calm your body when everything feels like too much.

Get through tonight

You don't have to solve everything right now. Sometimes the goal is just to make it to tomorrow. Rest, and reach out in the morning.

Small next step

Drink some water. Step outside for a minute. Text someone back. Tiny actions can start to shift a heavy day.
