Help teens know they're not alone.

Still Here runs on people who care. As a volunteer, you'll be there for teens in some of their hardest moments — listening, supporting, and pointing them toward help. It's meaningful, and it carries real responsibility, so every application is reviewed personally.

Respond to people reaching out

You'll pick up live chats and messages from teens who are struggling, and be a calm, supportive first point of contact.

Offer non-judgmental support

Listen with empathy, help people feel less alone, and guide them toward the right resources — never judging or pressuring.

Know when to escalate

When someone is at risk, you'll direct them to 988 and emergency services. You're a supportive guide, not a clinician.

Protect every visitor

Keep everything shared strictly confidential. Trust is the foundation of everything we do here.

Keep everything strictly confidential
Anything a visitor shares — their name, situation, messages, or contact details — is private. Never screenshot, copy, forward, post, or repeat it to anyone outside your authorized role. No leaks, ever.
Protect every visitor
Treat people reaching out with care and respect. They may be in crisis. Never judge, shame, dismiss, or pressure them.
Stay within your role
You are a supportive first point of contact, not a licensed therapist. For any risk to someone's safety, direct them to 988 and emergency services. Do not give medical or clinical advice you are not qualified to give.
No misuse of access
Do not use the dashboard, submissions, or chats for anything other than helping visitors. Do not share your login, and do not access data you do not need.

I understand that breaking these rules — including leaking or sharing any visitor's private information — will result in the immediate removal of my administrator access, and may result in legal action being taken against me. I confirm the information I provided is accurate and that I am accepting these terms voluntarily.
